How it runs ## Workflow redesign in four steps 1. ### Diagnose We sit with the people who do the work and map the process as it runs today, not as the org chart describes it. Business process optimization is the work of analysing how a company's work actually moves, removing the steps that add time or errors without adding value, and redesigning the flow so it holds as the company grows. With us it includes the diagnosis, the workflow redesign, the build of any automation or integration the redesign needs, and the hand-off to the internal team. It is not a report; the deliverable is a process running in production. ### How long does a process diagnosis take? It depends on how many processes are in scope and how many people touch them. A diagnosis is scoped to the few processes that cost the most, and we state its duration and price in the proposal after a first conversation. There is no public price list; scope sets the price. Most of the operational efficiency in a company of 10 to 250 people comes from removing steps and connecting the tools already in use. Business process automation is added only for steps that are repetitive, stable and measurable. New software is the last option, and when it is needed we build the smallest version that closes the gap. ### How do you measure results? Against a baseline taken before any change: cycle time from request to completion, error and rework rate, hours per week spent on manual steps, and how many decisions still route through one person. The same numbers are tracked after the change and reviewed until they hold for a full cycle. ### What if our processes are not documented? That is the normal starting point. The diagnosis produces the documentation by observing the work and interviewing the people who do it. Undocumented processes are not a blocker; they are usually the reason the work is worth doing. ### Automation broke for us before. Why would this hold? Automations usually break for two reasons: they were built on a process nobody had mapped, and nobody owned them after launch. We start with the diagnosis, so the build rests on how work actually runs, and we automate only steps that are repetitive, stable and measurable.
